The Team
Laura
How we started
Rocketstars was founded by Laura Anastasi 3 years ago. After working in the industry for some years, Laura decided to take the leap and launch her own company, Rocketstars, which was named after her cheeky Toy Poodle MrRocket (with the right training you can reach the stars, the sky is your limit ). Laura still loves a hands on approach and you will find her dog walking, taking training walks , 121’s, teaching classes and holding family coaching sessions. Laura has had a passion for dogs since a young age growing up around greyhounds and horses, but Laura’s passion took her down the ring craft path when her boxer dog She-ra became part of the family when she was 7, leading them both to qualify for crufts in the young handler section.
Laura is member of The IMDT. The IMDT is the only education provider to offer the externally accredited OCN 'Principles of Dog Training and Behaviour' Dog Training Qualification, she also has a diploma in dog walking and home pet sitting and is Canine first aid trained.
Laura’s daughter Ava-May has followed in this passion and loves to train and teach their cheeky mini schnauzer Luna tricks.
we have now added little rescue toy poodle to our family named Waffle
Callie
Callies love for dogs has been lifelong. But 6 years ago when she welcomed Bella, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, to her family, her journey really took off.
In their spare time, Callie and her daughter Freya regularly attend ring craft classes and qualified for Crufts!
Callie became a qualified trainer three years ago with the IMDT, is qualified as an Easy Peasy Puppy Instructor, is human and canine first aid trained and has a dog walking and pet sitting diploma.
Always looking to deepen her knowledge, Callie regularly attends workshops and training days ensuring she can bring the most up to date, scientifically proven methods to training classes.
Izzy
Izzy has been around dogs her whole life, growing up with the family Labrador, Merlin, really kick started her love for them.
Izzy started Tailored Dog walking in 2022 and has never looked back since.
She has completed the IMDT Practical instructors course and career as a dog trainer course and is currently working towards becoming a certified IMDT trainer.
She is also canine first aid trained and is always looking to expand her skills where she can.
Izzy has previously fostered rescue dogs and loves nothing more than to see them grow and become happy healthy dogs before going to their forever homes, even though it is always hard to say goodbye!
she currently has two of her own cheeky dogs, Leo a Romanian rescue and Ace, a Brussels Griffon, who keep her busy when she's not working

PUPPY AND MIXED ABILITY CLASS
Our puppy/Beginners classes are designed to help your dog build a special bond for your future adventures together, We use positive reinforcement and reward-based methods to ensure your dog learns in a safe and effective way to learn. We also offer Junior classes, a great follow on from puppy/Beginners course or for anyone to attend that wants to take their dogs training further.
All our classes are held in a secure enclosed field.
